SUNDAY CHILDREN'S MINISTRIES
Sunday Ministries: Our Sunday program for children rotates through the month, partnering with the 8:30 contemporary worship service in Warwick. The Children’s Activities are held in Williams Hall while the contemporary Worship Service is held in the church. We hold it a privilege to be witnessing, leading and sharing faith stories while we sow the seeds!
We are a child safe church, following recording, reporting and training as laid down by the Uniting Church.
Holiday Activities on Sundays
Sunday Holiday program
During school holidays or the 5th Sunday when it occurs, we are planning on involving the children in All Age Worship. We aim to give them an ownership of their position in our church family faith and worship.
Godly Play
We are excited to offer a wider program of Godly Play in 2019.
We are combining our Tot.come (pre-schoolers) and Sunday School (school age to Year 7) to our Godly Play group for the first quarter of this year. It will allow consolidation of our faith stories and experiences and follows on from children’s responses to the Godly Play experiences they had in 2018.
Family Service
- All Age Worship is enjoyed on the 3rd Sunday of the month and held in church with all ages in together. It is a service that celebrates Holy Communion, sometimes in different ways. This is to introduce the children to a contemporary and relational Worship service where the children are encouraged to take part in small roles.
